After finishing the puzzle you've to answer a question (different each time). Mine was "In his Italian Journeys, what type of tower with a great bulging cornice, does William Dean Howells see?" Answer: Ghibelline. Found by using the tip at the bottom to do a google book search for the phrase "with a great bulging cornice".
